About Monument Health Behavioral Health Center
Monument Health Behavioral Health Center is a psychiatric healing environment offering inpatient and outpatient services for patients of all ages. Providers include psychiatrists, skilled nurses, licensed counselors and licensed social workers. Caregivers consider the whole person: mind, body and spirit.
The outpatient clinic offers psychiatric diagnostic interviews and medication management services. Inpatient treatment includes group, family and individual therapy, as well as diagnostic testing and psychological evaluations. Occupational therapists evaluate and treat patients with special needs, and recreational therapists provide a therapeutic environment. If necessary, patients can be hospitalized at Rapid City Hospital. Intensive case management is available to coordinate external services for the hospitalized patient.
