Wayne Plooster, D.O.

Dr. Plooster was born and raised in Rapid City and graduated from Central High School before attending Black Hills State University in Spearfish, South Dakota. After obtaining his undergraduate degree he joined the United States Peace Corps for two years. He went back to medical school at Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kirksville, Missouri, and completed residency training at Rapid City Regional Hospital Family Medicine Residency, where he was Chief Resident his final year.

He enjoys practicing all aspects of family medicine. When he is not at work, he and his wife enjoy being outdoors.
