Victor Meier, M.D.

Victor T. Meier, M.D., is a dedicated physician specializing in advanced wound management and hyperbaric medicine at Monument Health Wound Care in Rapid City. With a clinical foundation in Family Medicine, Dr. Meier transitioned to full time wound care in 2021, bringing a holistic, evidence-based approach to patients facing complex or non-healing wounds. Passionate about the life-changing potential of hyperbaric medicine, he utilizes this technology to treat a wide range of conditions, including non-healing diabetic foot ulcers, radiation-induced tissue damage and compromised skin grafts. By combining years of primary care experience with specialized hyperbaric training, Dr. Meier focuses on optimizing patient outcomes and restoring quality of life. He understands that chronic wounds can be physically and emotionally challenging, and he finds deep reward in helping patients achieve healing through personalized care plans. Originally from Southern California, Dr. Meier was most recently living and practicing in Springfield, MO, before relocating to the Black Hills.

Now proud to call Rapid City home, he and his wife enjoy exploring the region through travel and a variety of outdoor activities.
