Michael Hogue, M.D.

Dr. Hogue is a board-certified Family Medicine physician who was born and raised in North Dakota. He played music professionally before and during the time he attended medical school at the University of North Dakota School of Medicine in Grand Forks. Following medical school, Dr. Hogue completed a Family Medicine residency in Sioux Falls, SD. He practiced in Sioux Falls from 1982 to 1995, during which time he met his wife, Tina, who is from Rapid City. The Hogues moved to the Black Hills in 1996, and since then Dr. Hogue has practiced in Deadwood, Sturgis and Rapid City. He has also provided care in emergency rooms throughout the state. Dr. Hogue currently practices as a hospitalist at Rapid City Hospital. He enjoys playing music, golf and camping with his wife, children and his six grandchildren.
