Hannah Schiermeister, CNP

Hannah Schiermeister is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C) specializing in spine-focused pain management at Monument Health Orthopedic & Specialty Hospital. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing from South Dakota State University and has over 15 years of experience in the healthcare field. Hannah is passionate about providing personalized, compassionate care to patients dealing with chronic pain, with a focus on improving function and quality of life.

Before becoming a nurse practitioner, Hannah began her career as a Certified Nursing Assistant while attending nursing school. She then spent 13 years as a registered nurse, focusing on cardiology and perianesthesia, before transitioning to her current role.

Hannah is an active member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) and the Nurse Practitioner Association of South Dakota (NPASD). She is committed to lifelong learning and regularly attends workshops and conferences to stay at the forefront of developments in pain management care.

Outside of her professional life, she enjoys spending time with her family and two dogs, reading, hiking and exploring the natural beauty of the Black Hills.
