About Arundhati Biswas, M.D.
Arundhati Biswas, MD, FACS is a board-certified Neurosurgeon at Rapid City Hospital. Dr. Biswas was fellowship-trained in Neuro-endovascular Surgery at Rutgers Health Hospital in Newark, N.J. and was a resident at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in N.Y. She obtained a Master’s of Surgery in General Surgery and a Bachelor’s of Medicine and a Bachelor’s of Surgery in India.
Previously an Acting Clinical Instructor and Fellow in Neurosurgery at University of Washington in Seattle and Postdoctoral Neurosurgery Research Fellow at Jewish General Hospital in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, Dr. Biswas was also Assistant Professor in the Department of Neurosurgery at New York Medical College in N.Y. and a Neurosurgeon/Clinical Assistant Professor at Carle Hospital, University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
Dr. Biswas is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and the College of Physicians and Surgeons in Mumbai, India. She is also a member of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons, the Congress of Neurological Surgeons and the American Board of Neurological Surgeons, Sigma-Xi Society and the Neurological Society of India.
Her downtime hobbies include reading, hiking, traveling and volunteering.
